JEREMY GILL CONSTRUCTION DESIGN
Jeremy Gill founded the Design & Constructions in 2009, but his experience in the building industry reaches back to his childhood, when he spent his days alongside his father importing plywood and hand-carved wood products from southeast Asia. Over the years, he has worked on every side of the business, from global supply chain to local trim carpenter. He possesses a first-hand knowledge of all building trades from his work as a specialist in the framing and flooring businesses and as a generalist in his historic home renovation business.
He took a four-year hiatus from building to earn a Bachelor of Music degree in Classical Percussion from the University of North Carolina School of the Arts. During this time, he began to develop his visual aesthetic while building furniture in a friend's wood shop, and installing Japanese gardens for a prominent designer.
In his early teens, he began restoring vintage British sports cars and Volkswagens and is now a skilled metal worker and mechanic. He brings these skills to bear in building when designs call for alternative building materials and out-of-the-box solutions.
These diverse experiences come together in his work as a licensed general contractor. His thorough knowledge of the construction trades enables him to develop integrated solutions for every project, and to ensure that each element is executed to the highest level. His refined aesthetic principles result in work that is both original and elegant.
